Mark Spriggs
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr Mark Spriggs DC (Doctor of Chiropractic), MChiro, MSc (Diagnostic Imaging), FRCC graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of Glamorgan in South Wales in 2010 with a Masters of Chiropractic degree. Since then, Mark has worked in clinical practice in London before moving back to Berkshire. After working for one of the largest Chiropractic clinical groups in the UK, Mark launched Spriggs Chiropractic and Nutrition in Newbury with his wife Helen. Since then, he has pursued additional certifications in spinal biomechanics and rehabilitation. These studies have lead Mark to attending courses in the US learning directly from some of the leading spine researchers in the world. Mark has recently completed a Masters Degree (MSc) in Enhanced Diagnostic Imaging from Sheffield Hallam University.
Mark is a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractors, an associate member of the Orthopaedics and Exercise Rehabilitation faculty and continues to pursue specialist membership with the Imaging Faculty.
Mark’s main focus for research is the cervical spine with a keen interest in cervicogenic headache and migraine management. Mark’s MSc dissertation investigated the cervical spine and treatment options in chiropractic for cervical spine conditions along with the appropriateness of manipulative therapy for patients presenting to the clinic with cervical spine complaints.
